Transliteration
Bismillahi Tawakkaltu ‘Alallah, laa hawla walaa Quwwata illa billah
English Translation:
“I commence my journey in the name of Allah, having put my reliance on Allah, there is no might and no power but in Allah.”
Urdu Translation:
’’میں اللہ کے نام سے اپنے سفر کا آغاز کرتا ہوں، اللہ پر توکل کرتے ہوئے، اللہ کے سوا کوئی طاقت اور طاقت نہیں ہے۔‘‘
’’میں اللہ کے نام سے اپنے سفر کا آغاز کرتا ہوں، اللہ پر توکل کرتے ہوئے، اللہ کے سوا کوئی طاقت اور طاقت نہیں ہے۔‘‘
- Dua for Intention for Umrah
اللہُمَّا انّی عَرِیْدُ الْمُرْتَ فَیْسَرْحَا لی وَتَقَبْلَہُ مِنْ۔
Transliteration:
Allahumma innee ureedul ‘umrata fayasserhaa lee wa taqabbalhaa minnee.
English Translation:
“O Allah, indeed I intend to perform the Umrah, so please make it easy for me and accept it from me.”
Urdu Translation:
اے اللہ! میں بلند مقام کی خواہش رکھتا ہوں، پس میرے لیے اسے آسان بنا دے اور اسے مجھ سے قبول فرما۔
- When entering Masjid al Haraam (or any other mosque)
“بسم اللہ، وصلوۃ وسلام علی رسول اللہ، اللہم افتح لی ابوابا رحمتک”۔
Transliteration:
“Bismillah, was-salatu was-salamu ‘ala rasoolillah, allahumma aftah li abwaba rahmatik.”
English Translation:
“In the name of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God, O God, open the doors of your mercy for me.”
Urdu Translation:
“خدا کے نام سے، خدا کی دعا اور خدا کے رسول پر سلامتی ہو، اے خدا، میرے لئے اپنی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے۔”
- Dua for Tawaaf
اللّٰہُمَّا إِنِّی عَرِیْدُ لَطَوَافَا بَیْتَکَ لِحَرَامِ فِی یَسْرُوْ لِی وَقَبْلُوْ مِنْ۔
Transliteration:
Allāhumma innī urīdu l-ṭawwafa baytika l-ḥarāmi fa yassirhu lī wa taqabbalhu minnī.
English Translation:
O Allah, I intend to perform Tawaf of Your Sacred House, so make it easy for me and accept it from me.
Urdu Translation:
اے اللہ میں تیرے حرمت والے گھر کا طواف کرنا چاہتا ہوں تو اسے میرے لیے آسان فرما اور مجھ سے قبول فرما۔
- Du’a while kissing the Hajre Aswad:
بسم اللہ اللہ اکبر واللہ اعلم۔
Transliteration:
Bismillahi Allahu Akbar Wa lillahil Hamd.
English Translation:
“In the name of God, the Greatest, and to Him belongs praise.”
Urdu Translation:
خدا کے نام سے جو سب سے بڑا ہے اور اسی کے لیے حمد ہے۔
- Between Rukne Yamani and Hajre Aswad
ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي آخرتي حسنة وصناعة عزبان نار. وادخل جناتا معال آبار. ياعزيزي يا غفار، يا رب العالمين
Transliteration:
Rabbana ‘aatina fid dunya hasanatan wa fil aakhirati hasanatan wa qinaa ‘azaban naar. Wa adkhilnal jannata ma’al abaar. Ya ‘azeezu ya ghaffaaru, ya rabbal ‘aalameen
English Translation:
“Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and [that which is] righteousness and a place of refuge in the Fire. And admit us into the gardens of Paradise and wells. O Mighty, O Forgiving, O Lord of the worlds.”
Urdu Translation:
اے ہمارے رب ہمیں دنیا میں بھلائی دے اور آخرت میں بھی بھلائی اور نیکی اور آگ میں ٹھکانہ۔ اور ہمیں جنت کے باغوں اور کنوؤں میں داخل فرما۔ اے غالب، اے بخشنے والے، اے جہانوں کے رب۔
- Dua for drinking Zam Zam
بسم اللہ والحمدو للہ۔ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَیْہِ رَسُوْلُ اللہ۔ اللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّ اللّٰہُ عَلَیْکَ اِلَیْمَ نَفِیْعَ، وَرِزقَانِ وَصِیْعًا،
وَامِلَانِ صَلِیْحٌ، وَشِفَانَ مِنْ کُلِیْدًا
Transliteration:
“Bismillah wal hamdu lillah. Wassalatu wassalamu ala rasulillah. Allahumma innee as`aluka ‘ilman naafi’aa, wa rizqan wasi’aa, wa ‘amalan saalihaa, wa shifa`an min kulli daa’.”
English Translation:
“In the name of God, with Hamdo Rat. And peace be upon him, the Messenger of God. Oh God, may God bless you with beneficial blessings, abundant sustenance, sound hopes, and healing from calamity.”
Urdu Translation:
“خدا کے نام پر، حمدو چوہے کے ساتھ۔ اور سلام اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم۔ اے خدا، خدا آپ کو نفع بخش نعمتوں، فراوانی رزق، اچھی امیدوں اور آفات سے شفاء عطا فرمائے۔”
- To be recited between Safa and Marwa:
لا الہ الا اللہ وحدہ لا شریک لہ، لہ الملک و لہ الحمدو، یوحی و یومیتو، وہوا حیون لا یموت۔ بیادیہل بال، وہوا الا کلی شایان قدیر۔ لا الہ الا اللہ وحداح، انجازۃ وداعو، و نصر عبدہ، و ہزمل احزابہ وحدۃ۔
Transliteration:
“Laa ilaha illallahu wahdahu laa sharika lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, Yuhyi wa yumeetu, wahua hayyun laa yamootu. Biyadihil hair, wahua ‘alaa kulli shayin qadeer. Laa Ilaaha Illallahu wahdahu, anjaza wa’dahu, wa nasar ‘abdahu, wa hazamal ahzaaba wahdahu.”
English Translation:
There is no god but Allah, one and only, with no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom, and to Him is all praise. He lives and dies, and He is a living being that does not die. He does not touch the hair, and He is the Almighty, the Most Powerful. There is no god but Allah, one and only, the achievement of His farewell, the victory of His servant, and the unity of His companions.
Urdu Translation:
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اکیلا، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ اسی کی بادشاہی ہے اور اسی کے لیے تمام تعریفیں ہیں۔ وہ جیتا اور مرتا ہے، اور وہ ایک زندہ مخلوق ہے جو نہیں مرتا۔ وہ بالوں کو نہیں چھوتا، اور وہ قادر مطلق ہے۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، واحد و یکتا، اس کی الوداعی کامیابی، اس کے بندے کی فتح اور اس کے ساتھیوں کا اتحاد۔
- Du’a while going into the Haram of Madeenah
Transliteration:
اللهم هذا الحرم الذي حرمته على لسان حبيبك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ودعا له بضعف ما حرمت به حرم بيتك، فحرم علي النار، وقني عذابك يوم تبعث عبادك، وارزقني من زيارة رسولك ما رزقت به أوليائك وصالحيك، وارزقني مكارم الأخلاق، وفعل الخيرات، والبعد عن المعاصي.
English Translation:
O Allah, this is the sanctuary that you have made Haram by the tongue of your
Beloved Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi wa sallam. And he made du’a to grant this
sanctuary double blessings and goodness of what you have granted to the
Haram of your house (in Makkah). So made the Fire Haram on me and protect
me from your punishment on the day you will resurrect your slaves. And grant
me from this visit (of your Messenger) what you granted your close ones and
righteous ones. Also, grant me the ability to maintain proper Adaab (etiquette), to
perform good deeds and to stay away from disobedience.
Urdu Translation:
اے اللہ یہ وہ حرم ہے جسے تو نے اپنی زبان سے حرام بنایا ہے۔
پیارے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم۔ اور اس کو عطا کرنے کی دعا کی۔
حرمت دوگنی نعمتیں اور نیکی جو تو نے عطا کی ہے۔
آپ کے گھر کا حرم (مکہ میں)۔ تو مجھ پر آگ کو حرام کر اور حفاظت فرما
مجھے تیرے عذاب سے جس دن تو اپنے بندوں کو زندہ کرے گا۔ اور گرانٹ
مجھے (آپ کے رسول کی) اس زیارت سے جو آپ نے اپنے بندوں کو عطا کیا اور
نیک لوگ مجھے مناسب آداب (آداب) برقرار رکھنے کی بھی توفیق عطا فرما
نیک کام کریں اور نافرمانی سے بچیں۔
- Giving Salaam to the Prophet
السلام عليكم يا رسول الله!

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته. السلام عليكم يا شفيع المزنبيين!

Transliteration:
Asslalaatu Assalamu Alaika Ya RasoolAllah! Asslalaatu Assalamu Alaika Ya NabiyAllah! Asslalaatu Assalamu Alaika Ya HabibAllah! Asslalaatu Assalamu Alaika Ya Rahmatan lil Alameen. Peace be upon you, O Messenger of God!

5 Actual Times to Make Dua to Go for Hajj and Umrah
1. Last Third of the Night
It is the best time to make dua in the last third of the night before the Fajr prayer. This time is also known for Thajjud. This is the time when Allah comes to the last sky and listens to our prayers and accepts them.
2. Between Aqamah and Adhan
Between the adhan to prayer, it is the best time when dua is accepted by Allah. Because at this time many muslims are connected spiritually to Allah.
3. While drinking ZamZam water
It was quoted that if we make dua while drinking the ZamZam water, there is a high chance of getting accepted by Allah Almighty. Because it is the most accepted time to make dua for your desires.
4. On the night of Qadar
It is the most favourite night of Allah Almighty to accept our dua. All muslims pray for themselves in the middle night of Qadar because it is the unique time to get accepted by Allah.
5. During Rain
Rain is the powerful blessing of Allah. It is a great time to pray to Allah. It’s a wonderful time to ask for Allah’s mercy, blessings, and forgiveness.
